Allen Guest Ranch
The Allen Ranch is a family owned business. Our operation is laid back, peaceful, with plenty of room for hiking, river tubing, and wildlife viewing. A perfect setup for reunions, cowboy suppers, and events.
The Allen Ranch is located in southwest South Dakota within the Black Hills. We offer the visitor a complete outdoor adventure into the old west that includes our Sioux Indian Tipi village. The village is located along a gentle flowing river known as the "Minnekahta", the river of warm water.
Our tipi's are available for an evening or an extended stay. We welcome families, or group vacationers. We also accommodate large group tours and customize a vacation package for any length of stay. A primitive camping area for tents is also available. The natural beauty of the area can be enjoyed from the river valley, or you may hike, bike or ride horses to the top of the Seven Sisters mountain range to view the distant badlands and Black Hills.
